We’re not here just to teach new skills (although we do that well), we want to help transform lives. FutureLearn is looking to build our teams with people who share our passion for lifelong learning, career empowerment and education for all. If that sounds like you, get in touch. You could help us achieve our biggest goal yet – becoming the world’s best AI-powered, career-based learning platform and OPM.
The Marketing Executive (Copywriter) at FutureLearn is a key member of the marketing team, reporting to the Head of Marketing Operations and occasionally supporting the Marketing Director with ad-hoc projects.
In this varied role, you will help plan and deliver multi-channel marketing campaigns across both B2C and B2B audiences, writing engaging copy for a range of digital platforms. Your focus will be on attracting new learners and degree prospects to FutureLearn and partner courses, enhancing conversion, and supporting lead generation in line with our degree, OPM, and B2B strategies. You will also look for ways to boost revenue from our existing partners.
This is a generalist position where you will collaborate with all areas of the marketing team, requiring a good understanding of multiple channels such as social media, CRM, SEO, paid media, and events. While the role is broad, strong copywriting skills are essential.
The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator with strong organisational skills, able to engage with partners and senior stakeholders effectively. You should be comfortable interpreting briefs, managing projects efficiently, and driving campaigns through to delivery, while also providing regular reports to inform strategy.
