We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Marketing & SEO Intern to join our growing team at Valuebound. This internship offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in both sales and digital marketing, with a focus on SEO (Search Engine Optimization). As a Sales and SEO intern, you will play a pivotal role in driving brand visibility, supporting lead generation efforts, and contributing to revenue growth initiatives in a fast-paced tech environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Support:

  • Assist the sales team in lead generation, prospecting, and outreach using tools like LinkedIn, email, and CRM platforms.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients, partners, and new opportunities across key industry verticals.
  • Prepare and update sales decks, pitch documents, and presentations for client meetings.
  • Participate in sales meetings, webinars, and client calls to gain first-hand experience in B2B tech sales.
  • Support the creation of targeted sales campaigns in collaboration with the marketing team.
  • Maintain and update internal databases of leads, prospects, and campaign performance metrics.

SEO & Digital Marketing:

  • Conduct keyword research and on-page optimization to improve search engine rankings for company websites and blogs.
  • Assist in developing SEO strategies including backlinking, metadata improvements, and technical audits.
  • Work with the content team to ensure SEO best practices are applied to blog posts, landing pages, and product pages.
  • Track, report, and analyze website traffic and performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEMrush/Ahrefs.
  • Stay up to date with the latest SEO trends, Google algorithm changes, and digital marketing practices.
  • Help execute and optimize email campaigns and performance marketing strategies where applicable.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Fresh graduates or current students pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in digital marketing, SEO, and B2B tech sales.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset with a good grasp of numbers, metrics, and reporting tools.
  • Familiarity with digital tools such as Google Suite, Excel, CRM systems, SEO tools (optional, but a plus).
  • Quick learner, self-driven, and able to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
