Role:
Schedules, plans and oversees material procurement, production and delivery processes.
What the candidate will do:
- Participates in scheduling production and delivery processes in accordance with current productivity and cost efficiency standards.
- Develops and executes material planning for a product line to ensure that all material requirements for assigned programs are met within the allocated time frame.
- Organizes the flow of materials within the manufacturing unit and the transferring of materials to and from the inventory or warehouse.
- Generates forecasts and manages replenishment planning for parts and materials to ensure specified service levels are met.
Education requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree in international business, International Trade, Administration, Industrial Engineer Administrator, Mechanical Engineer Administrator or Related Careers
- Intermediate English Conversational
What skills the ideal candidate will have:
Problem Solving :
- Proficiency in problem-solving methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, DMAIC, etc.).
- Data analysis skills, including intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel.
Relationship Management:
- Ability to respond effectively and promptly to customer requests and issues.
- Knowledge of internal customer satisfaction monitoring (e.g., surveys, service KPIs).
- Understanding of roles and responsibilities within business relationships (e.g., client-supplier, team member-leader).
- Ability to respond effectively and promptly to internal or external customer requests.
- Ability to work with clients or colleagues to resolve problems.
Manufacturing Requirements Planning (MRP):
- Background in Supply Chain (Purchasing, Planning, etc.) with at least 1 year in similar roles.
- Intermediate proficiency in MRP/ERP systems ( SAP) for material and capacity planning.
- Ability to synchronize demand with production capacity, considering operational constraints.
- Skill in adjusting production plans based on sales forecasts, custom orders, and variable demand.
- Practical knowledge of packaging, storage, and transportation of materials.
