We are seeking a Mazda Sales Consultant for our Richardson location — someone who is motivated, hard-working, and passionate about creating an unforgettable client experience.

Role Summary
As a Product Specialist, you’ll guide clients through every stage of their purchase and ownership journey. From the first test drive to long after delivery, you’ll ensure an extraordinary level of service and build lasting relationships that turn clients into advocates for our brand.

What You’ll Do

  • Greet and assist clients, providing an exceptional showroom and test-drive experience
  • Present and explain vehicle features, options, and benefits tailored to client needs
  • Guide clients through the sales process from initial inquiry to delivery and follow-up
  • Maintain strong product knowledge and stay current on Mazda’s lineup and technology
  • Ensure client satisfaction and encourage repeat and referral business

  • Prior sales or customer service experience preferred, but not required

Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Learns and utilizes all company and manufacture provided software including but not limited to the Client Relationship Management (CRM) system, vehicle appraisal system, and service drive opportunities.
  • Prospects for new and current clients
  • Executes individual business plans in order to build business relationships and grow sales
  • Maintains a working knowledge of purchases, leases and F&I products
  • Understands all current new car and pre-owned manufacture and captive lender programs and rates
  • Verifies insurance adds new vehicle to insurance policy and completes paperwork
  • Protects the company from potential export transactions and any potential fraud scenarios
  • Assists in the collection of cash/credit related to client deposits and "cash down"
  • Accountable for helping in the sale of F&I products
  • Fully prepares for each client appointment and logs appointments in CRM system
  • Greets prospective and repeat clients on the service drive and analyzes their position towards buying another vehicle
  • Works in partnership with the F&I Team and accounting team to resolve any outstanding contracts or incomplete deals
  • Follows up with clients and prospective clients in a timely fashion
  • Is fully dedicated to a team concept and will assist others for the greater good of the department
  • Accountable for departmental performance and manufacture standards, including but not limited to; safety equipment activation, technology usage requirements, "Customer Service Index", "Gross Average", "Finance & Lease" and vehicles sold
  • Has proper knowledge of vehicles and current market trends
  • Meets/Exceeds Mazda and manufacture training and certification plans and standards
  • Understands and adheres to the Mazda Sales Process
  • Knows and understands the Client Concern Resolution (CCR) process, and use the program to achieve client satisfaction
  • Knows and understands the Mazda Privacy and Information Security Policies, and adhere to the requirements
  • Reads and understands all company policies and procedures
  • Attends weekly department meetings at 10:00 am daily
  • Other duties as assigned
