Key Responsibilities
- Preventive & Corrective Maintenance:
Perform regular maintenance inspections and corrective actions on mechanical, electrical, and automation systems to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime. - Troubleshooting & Repairs:
Diagnose equipment failures, determine root causes, and implement appropriate repairs or replacement of parts. - System Improvements:
Evaluate current systems and propose enhancements to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase uptime. - Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and spare part usage. - Project Support:
Participate in the planning and execution of engineering projects, including new equipment installation, line upgrades, and layout changes. - Compliance & Safety:
Ensure that all maintenance activities comply with internal policies, safety regulations, and industry standards. - Vendor & Contractor Coordination:
Liaise with external service providers for specialized maintenance, equipment servicing, and parts procurement.
Requirements
Requirements
- Education:
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or a related Engineering discipline. - Experience:
At least 2–5 years of relevant maintenance experience in a manufacturing or production environment. - Technical Skills:
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Hands-on experience with PLCs, sensors, and automated systems is an advantage
- Familiarity with TPM, 5S, or other continuous improvement frameworks
- Soft Skills:
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Detail-oriented with a proactive mindset
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
