Mechanical Engineer

Are you a degree-qualified Mechanical Design Engineer with 5-7 years of experience, ideally gained within a services contractor environment? We are seeking a talented and driven individual to join our dynamic team. The pipeline of projects is very strong, 2026 and beyond is looking great!

You will be joining one of Australia's leading services contractors who provide a suite of services across mechancial/HVAC, electrical, security, technology & data markets.

Ideally a history of designing new build projects valued over $20M is highly desired. A couple of data centres as well as a few hospitals would be an added bonus.

In this role, you will be instrumental in the design and development of innovative mechanical systems for a variety of exciting projects; health, commercial, data-centre, defence. You will leverage your expertise to create efficient and effective solutions, working collaboratively with a skilled team of professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and engineer mechanical systems, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and codes.
• Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and reports.
• Conduct calculations and simulations to validate design concepts.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineers.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes.

About You:

• 5-7 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably with a services contractor.
• Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks).
• Strong understanding of Australian building codes and standards.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Full work rights for Australia.
