Mechanical Fitter

Location: Regency Park, Adelaide, South Australia Employment Type: Temporary to Permanent after 6 months Pay Rate: $50 - $60 per hour + super + overtime About the Company: Randstad is partnering with a leading mechanical engineering company in Adelaide. This family-owned business, established in 1973, specialises in the design, manufacture, and installation of conveyors, material handling systems, and structural components. They offer a supportive and team-oriented workshop environment. About the Role: We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter with significant experience in large structural mechanical fitting. This is a full-time position, 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with ample opportunities for overtime. Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret technical drawings.
• Secure and fasten components using clamps, braces, jacks, and bolt straps.
• Inspect and meet industry standards and specifications.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Ability to independently understand standards.
• Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Committed to doing a interview test

Desired Competencies:

• Certificate III in Engineering
• Minimum 3 years of post-trade experience.
