Job Purpose:
To design, implement, and maintain collaborative solutions using Microsoft 365 tools (Teams, SharePoint, Power Automate, etc.) that support and streamline PMO processes, governance, and reporting. This role acts as a bridge between the PMO and IT functions to ensure project environments are digitally enabled, user-friendly, and aligned with organizational project management frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and configure Microsoft Teams workspaces tailored for project and program environments, including channels, tabs, and integrated apps.
- Develop and manage SharePoint sites to serve as centralized repositories for project documentation, governance templates, and PMO resources.
- Automate and optimize PMO workflows using Microsoft Power Automate (e.g., approvals, notifications, reporting updates).
- Support the digital enablement of key PMO processes such as project intake, stage gate reviews, risk and issue management, and status reporting.
- Collaborate with project managers and PMO staff to understand functional needs and translate them into practical Microsoft 365 solutions.
- Provide user training, guidance, and support to ensure adoption of platforms and tools.
- Maintain security, access control, and permissions across PMO Teams and SharePoint environments.
- Drive continuous improvement of the PMO’s digital tools through regular feedback, monitoring, and enhancements.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3–5 years’ experience in a role involving Microsoft 365 solution design, administration, or user support.
- Strong knowledge of MS Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI).
- Experience supporting project environments or PMO functions is highly advantageous.
Skills and Competencies:
- Advanced proficiency in configuring and administering MS Teams and SharePoint Online.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 ecosystem and its integration capabilities.
- Ability to design user-friendly interfaces and workflows for non-technical users.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong analytical thinking with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, PMBOK, PRINCE2) is a plus.
