Role Overview

The Mindful Movement Zone Lead is the operational and instructional leader for all mindful movement experiences at LLMG—including Pilates (mat & reformer), yoga, sound healing, private sessions, and workshops. This role is both strategic and hands-on, with direct teaching responsibilities and full ownership of studio performance, instructor development, and guest satisfaction.

You will oversee day-to-day operations of the Mindful Movement zone, working closely with the Head of Operations and Program Manager to ensure each session reflects LLMG’s brand values, therapeutic philosophy, and high standards. This role is ideal for a leader who combines heart and hustle—someone who can hold space, build systems, and inspire teams.

Key Responsibilities

Programming & Class Experience

  • Lead the design and evolution of weekly, seasonal, and signature class formats across Pilates, yoga, and sound healing.
  • Teach 5–7 signature classes per week to model excellence and stay close to the guest journey.
  • Collaborate with the Program Manager to co-create holistic, value-aligned wellness workshops.
  • Ensure all offerings align with longevity principles and empower members to take ownership of their health.

Instructor Leadership & Development

  • Oversee hiring, onboarding, and mentorship for all movement instructors.
  • Conduct regular audits and structured feedback to uphold teaching quality.
  • Champion instructor training and facilitate team development sessions.
  • Foster a high-performing, values-driven instructor team with a shared sense of purpose.

Studio Operations & Private Bookings

  • Own daily studio operations, including equipment readiness, prop stocking, hygiene, and ambiance.
  • Plan and optimise instructor schedules and studio utilisation with contingency coverage in place.
  • Manage all private bookings and allocation of instructors for 1-on-1 or small group sessions.
  • Maintain accurate data on usage, performance, and member feedback in collaboration with Head of Operations.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with the Head of Operations to ensure operational efficiency and smooth zone functioning.
  • Partner with Medical, Recovery, and Fitness teams to align offerings with integrated care plans.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to promote new classes, instructors, and workshops.
  • Liaise with Strategic Ops on data tracking, studio yield, and program success metrics.

Guest Experience & Commercial Impact

  • Monitor class performance, utilisation rates, and guest satisfaction scores.
  • Be a visible leader onsite—engaging guests, collecting feedback, and championing service excellence.
  • Identify and implement commercial levers to drive workshop revenue, private bookings, and retention.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in boutique wellness, fitness, or integrative health environments.
  • Certified and experienced in at least one modality: Pilates (reformer preferred), yoga, or sound healing.
  • Proven leadership experience managing studio teams or wellness operations.
  • Strong understanding of how movement supports holistic health and lifestyle transformation.
  • Excellent communication, decision-making, and team-building skills.
  • High ownership mentality, operational rigour, and ability to lead with grace in a dynamic environment.
  • Passionate about movement as medicine and supporting others to live with purpose.

Nice to Have

  • Multi-modality certification (e.g. yoga + Pilates + sound).
  • Familiarity with scheduling software and CRM tools used in wellness environments.
  • Experience managing both group class schedules and private session logistics.
  • Insight into member engagement strategies and content planning.
