Video Editor / Motion Designer – French or German Speaker

About the role

We are looking for a talented and proactive Video Editor / Motion Designer to join our creative team in Barcelona.

You will work on high-impact video content for social media and streaming platforms, collaborating with an international team on innovative projects related to artificial intelligence, wearables, and digital communication.

Responsibilities

• Edit and produce high-quality, engaging short-form video ads for social media and streaming platforms.
• Conceptualize and execute creative ideas that align with brand guidelines and messaging.
• Collaborate with the creative team to develop storyboards and shot lists.
• Manage and organize video footage, ensuring efficient workflow and quick turnaround times.
• Apply advanced editing techniques, including transitions, motion graphics, sound design, and color correction.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in social media video editing.
• Participate in testing and quality assurance activities, ensuring content meets technical and creative standards.

Requirements

• 2–6 years of professional experience as a Video Editor or Motion Designer.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Animation, Graphic Design, Multimedia, or a related field (a degree in Animation preferred).
• Exceptional candidates from varied backgrounds will be considered, provided they have a strong animation/design portfolio.
• Proven experience in short-form video editing with a strong showreel or portfolio.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Solid understanding of social media platforms and how to tailor content for each.
• Fluent English speaker + French or German speaker.

• Must have: Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Photoshop
• Nice to have: Adobe Illustrator
