Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer with 3 to 5 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in SQL Server Azure DevOps Java mySQL Jenkins Docker SQL Python GIT and Shell scripting. A strong background in Bioinformatics is essential. This role is based in our office and operates during day shifts with no travel required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software applications using Java Python and SQL to support bioinformatics projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that meet project requirements.
• Utilize Azure DevOps for continuous integration and deployment to ensure efficient software delivery.
• Manage and optimize databases using SQL Server and mySQL to ensure data integrity and performance.
• Implement and maintain containerized applications using Docker to streamline development processes.
• Automate build and deployment processes using Jenkins to enhance productivity and reduce errors.
• Use GIT for version control to manage code changes and collaborate with team members effectively.
• Write and maintain Shell scripts to automate routine tasks and improve system efficiency.
• Analyze and interpret bioinformatics data to provide actionable insights for research and development.
• Ensure software solutions are scalable reliable and secure to meet the needs of the organization.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for software applications to ensure smooth operation.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
• Contribute to the companys mission by developing innovative solutions that impact society positively.

Qualifications

• Possess a strong understanding of SQL Server and mySQL for database management.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Java and Python for software development.
• Have experience with Azure DevOps for continuous integration and deployment.
• Show expertise in using Docker for containerization.
• Be skilled in using Jenkins for automating build and deployment processes.
• Have a solid understanding of GIT for version control.
• Be proficient in Shell scripting for task automation.
• Have domain expertise in Bioinformatics to support relevant projects.

Certifications Required

• Certified Java Programmer Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate
