We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented NetApp Storage Administrator to join our IT infrastructure team. This role involves managing, configuring, and maintaining NetApp storage systems to ensure high availability, performance, and security of enterprise data. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with NetApp ONTAP, storage protocols, backup solutions, and automation tools.

Key Responsibilities

· NetApp Storage Administration: Manage and maintain NetApp FAS and AFF series storage systems.

· Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor storage performance, capacity, and health.

· Data Management: Implement and manage NFS, CIFS/SMB, iSCSI, and FC protocols.

· Backup & Recovery: Design and manage backup and recovery strategies (e.g., Rubrik).

· Troubleshooting: Resolve issues related to storage performance, connectivity, and data access.

· Integration: Collaborate with server, network, and application teams for seamless integration.

· Documentation: Maintain accurate records of configurations, procedures, and incidents.

· Security: Ensure data protection through encryption, access controls, and compliance.

· Capacity Planning: Forecast and plan for future storage needs.

· Automation: Use tools like Ansible or Terraform to automate storage management tasks.

· Incident Response: Provide Tier 3 support for storage-related incidents.

· Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest NetApp technologies and best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

· Strong expertise in NetApp ONTAP and storage technologies.

· Proficient in NFS, CIFS/SMB, iSCSI, and FC protocols.

· Experience with backup and recovery solutions (e.g., Rubrik).

· Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

· Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

· Hands-on experience with automation and scripting (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).

· Familiarity with cloud storage and virtualization technologies.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $49,001– $92,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and is subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
