Job description:
- Monitor and manage routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Implement network changes, firmware upgrades, and configuration backups.
- Resolve incidents, analyze root causes, and coordinate with telco providers and vendors.
- Support VPNs, firewalls, load balancers, and DNS/DHCP configurations.
- Document network architecture, topology, and site diagrams.
- Participate in DR testing and ensure secure connectivity across all sites.
- Conduct network vulnerability assessments and implement corrective measures.
- Track IP assignments and manage network addressing (IPAM).
- Strong understanding of LAN/WAN/WLAN technologies and protocols.
- Experience with Cisco, Juniper, or equivalent enterprise network devices.
- Knowledge in firewall management, VPN, routing, and switching.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g. SolarWinds, Wireshark).
- Good documentation and troubleshooting skills under pressure.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics and Communications, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in network engineering roles.
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are preferred.
- Strong proficiency in OpenShift, Kubernetes, and containerization tools.
- Experience in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Familiar with DevOps pipelines, GitOps workflows, and automation scripts.
- Solid understanding of Linux system administration and scripting.
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
