We have an immediate need for both an OO6 and an OO7 Supervisor located in Nerang.

Relevant Construction Trade Qualification (Highly Desirable)

An exciting opportunity awaits a highly skilled and experienced Construction Supervisor to join a reputable Government Department in Nerang. This is a crucial role overseeing commercial/residential projects, demanding strong leadership and technical expertise. Immediate start is preferred; this is a priority position!

Who are you?

• Proven experience in construction supervision.
• Construction trade background is mandatory.
• Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Live locally
• Willing to put in overtime hours

What are you going to do?

As a Construction Supervisor, you will play a vital role in the successful delivery of construction projects. Your responsibilities will encompass supervising staff and subcontractors, overseeing project planning and execution, ensuring adherence to safety regulations, and contributing to cost-effective project outcomes. The Construction Supervisor will also participate in tender preparation and cost estimations. You will be a key figure in maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Requirements of this role include:

• Hold a Current Builders Supervisors Licence - Highly Regarded
• A current Open Class C Driver's Licence (Queensland) or equivalent.
• Criminal history check prior to appointment
• Current Australian working rights- proof required on application.

It is expected that the successful candidate will possess strong oral/written communication, presentation and interpersonal skills. They will display initiative, attention to detail, and have the ability to work autonomously and unsupervised whilst contributing to the wider team's objectives of ensuring service delivery exceeds expectations.
