Job Objective:
To manage and coordinate the daily operations of marine logistics services, ensuring timely delivery, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence in alignment with company goals. The role covers five core service areas: Marine Vessel Supply, Bunker Supply, STS Operations, Ship Clearing & Port Agency Services, and Barge Operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Marine Vessel Supply Services
Ensure timely deployment of various vessel types, including AHTS, FSIV, PSV, crew boats, security boats, and accommodation barges to support offshore operations. Coordinate round-the-clock crew operations, oversee scheduled vessel maintenance, and ensure 100% compliance with national and international maritime standards. Target: Zero operational downtime and 100% compliance audit rating per quarter. - Bunker Supply
Supervise high-quality fuel procurement and delivery across ports, maintaining compliance with MARPOL and IMO regulations. Facilitate real-time monitoring and reporting of bunker operations. Target: At least 95% of deliveries meeting quality and compliance benchmarks, and no regulatory fines annually. - Ship-to-Ship (STS) Operations
Coordinate certified personnel, tugboats, and rigging/unrigging operations for secure and efficient transshipments. Ensure 24/7 operations monitoring and adherence to OCIMF and MARPOL standards. Target: Zero incident reports during STS transfers and 100% certified staff involvement in operations. - Ship Clearing & Port Agency Services
Facilitate seamless vessel berthing, customs clearance, harbor service documentation, and emergency response coordination. Liaise with relevant authorities to ensure proper documentation and vessel turnaround. Target: Less than 3 hours vessel clearance time and zero documentation errors monthly. - Barge Operations
Oversee deployment and operations of licensed barges (800MT to 4000MT capacity). Ensure compliance with NPA, NIMASA, and NIWA regulations, and provide bespoke logistics support to clients. Target: 100% regulatory compliance and >90% barge operational uptime monthly. - Client & Stakeholder Engagement
Maintain strong communication with clients, vendors, and regulators to ensure operations meet expectations. Provide weekly updates and promptly address service issues. Target: 100% response rate within 24 hours to client requests and ≥85% client satisfaction rating. - Compliance & Documentation
Ensure all operational activities comply with regulatory standards. Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for audits and internal reviews. Target: 100% documentation accuracy and full regulatory compliance during inspections. - Operational Reporting
Prepare and submit weekly operational status reports, project milestones, and monthly performance dashboards to management. Target: 100% submission of reports within required timelines. - Team Oversight & Continuous Improvement
Supervise field personnel and third-party service providers. Recommend and implement operational improvements. Target: At least one efficiency initiative proposed quarterly and improved performance scores across teams.
