Operations Manager

National Commercial and Residential Roofing Contractor are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Operations Manager to lead our project delivery team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. You will be the primary liaison between our clients, sales team, and construction crews, playing a key role in our continued success and customer satisfaction.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Project and Resource Management: Oversee the full project life cycle, including meticulous scheduling of jobs with clients and installation teams, and the proactive management of project budgets and time lines.
Supplier and Material Coordination: Manage relationships with suppliers, including the ordering of materials and coordinating deliveries to align with project schedules.
Safety and Compliance: Ensure all on-site work is conducted safely by verifying that all installer insurances are up to date, and that risk assessments and safety systems are in place before work commences.
Client and Team Communication: Maintain consistent and clear communication with clients, keeping them well-informed of project progress. You will also work closely with the construction team to ensure seamless execution.
On-Site Duties: Conduct site visits for check measures and prepare detailed material orders to support the project scope.
To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Have:
Proven experience in an operations or project management role within the roofing industry.
Technical Knowledge: A strong understanding of Roofing or Roof Plumbing industry, ideally someone with a trade in Roofing.
Exceptional Skills:
Organisational and Time Management: Excellent ability to work with contractors and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Customer Service: Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills with a commitment to quality.
Communication: Excellent presentation skills and the ability to clearly convey complex information.
