Are you a skilled and dedicated individual with a passion for maintaining beautiful green spaces? We are currently seeking a Parks & Gardens Labourer to join our team in Townsville. This is a hands-on role perfect for someone who enjoys working outdoors and contributing to the community's natural beauty.

What We're Looking For: We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a strong work ethic and the following essential qualifications and attributes. Applicants must be based in Townsville, QLD.

Essential Qualifications:

• Certificate III in Arboriculture and/or Certificate III in Horticulture (Mandatory).
• Current unrestricted Queensland "C" class manual driver’s licence.
• Accredited Chainsaw Ticket (Level 2).
• Agricultural Chemical Distribution Certificate (ACDC).
• Construction Safety (White Card) (Course in General Safety Induction for the Construction Industry) or the ability to attain it.
• Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol Test and Physical Assessment.

Highly Desirable (but not essential):

• Current unrestricted Queensland "MR" class licence or the ability to attain it.
• First Aid Certificate.
• Certificate associated with the successful completion of the Safe Working Near Live Exposed Parts training course, or the ability to attain it.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Performing a variety of parks and gardens maintenance tasks, including mowing, pruning, weeding, and planting.
• Operating and maintaining a range of tools and equipment.
• Applying chemicals and using machinery safely and effectively.
• Working collaboratively with the team to ensure projects are completed to a high standard.
