Job Overview 

We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Officer to manage payroll operations for our local and international entities. This role involves working closely with external payroll providers to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing across multiple jurisdictions. The Payroll Officer will also oversee payroll audits, maintain payroll systems, and act as the main point of contact for payroll-related queries.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage payroll operations for Cyprus-based entities and coordinate with external payroll providers to ensure accuracy and compliance with local legislation.
  • Coordinate and oversee payroll processing for international entities by collaborating closely with external payroll providers.
  • Direct and audit payroll procedures globally and ensure compliance with organisational and local procedures.
  • Ensures payroll processes are administered in compliance with requirements, internal company policies and applicable country regulations.
  • Act as the first point of contact for payroll-related queries.
  • Ensures all payments are implemented correctly and efficiently.
  • Implement, maintain, and review payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, taxes, and other deductions.
  • Facilitates audits by providing records and documentation to auditors.
  • Identifies and recommends updates to payroll processing software, systems, and procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Payroll Officer, or relevant position, experience within the Forex industry will be considered a plus.
  • Excellent command of the English and Greek language.
  • Extensive knowledge of the payroll function including preparation, balancing, internal control, and payroll taxes.
  • Ability to understand and manage the payroll process of different entities and locations across the world.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Experience with payroll software.
