Payroll Officer

Join a prestigious operator in Melbourne’s south-east, servicing thousands of members across a range of amenities and experiences. Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Officer to join the finance team on an ongoing Part-time basis.

About the role

You'll be the key person ensuring the team is paid accurately and on time, with all necessary reporting to the Financial Controller. You’ll be:

• Managing the full end-to-end payroll cycle for more than 100 employees.
• Importing approved HR timesheets into the payroll system for the weekly pay cycle.
• Processing higher duties, entitlements, and other payments.
• Completing all necessary payroll reporting.
• Handling payroll administration tasks with a high degree of accuracy and integrity.
• Ensuring compliance with the relevant award and statutory requirements.

About you

Our client is seeking an experienced payroll professional who is comfortable with full-cycle payroll duties and can work autonomously. You'll need:

• Proven experience in an end-to-end payroll role, including both processing and administration.
• Experience with Employment Hero is highly desirable.
• A strong understanding of Award interpretation and payroll compliance.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• The ability to work independently and manage your workload efficiently.
• A professional and communicative approach.
