Payroll Team Leader

Randstad is pleased to be partnering with our client who are a reputable global business within an exciting industry sector. They are seeking an experienced Payroll Team Leader for a 12 month fixed-term contract.

About the role:

You will be responsible for leading a small team who process the pays for over 2000 employees. Your duties will include:

• Lead and oversee all payroll operations
• Ensure all pay run activities are executed in accordance with legislative, regulatory and award requirements (including tax, superannuation, STP) with strict adherence to timing and accuracy
• Implement and deliver pay compliance reporting
• Coach and mentor direct reports to deliver best practice payroll and foster a culture of continuous improvement
• Lead and coach performance, development, and day-to-day operations for the payroll team
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders

About you:

You are an experienced Payroll Manager or Payroll Team Leader with exceptional people leadership skills. In addition, you have:

• 5+ years of experience in a leadership position
• Experience managing a payroll of at least 1000 employees
• Experience using a large system
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A positive attitude
• Full and unlimited Australian working rights
