I have several contract opportunities NOW within the government sector for superstars who have proven experience in researching and writing policy, briefings and ministerial documentation. If this is YOU, please read on.

Various duties and responsibilities include:

• Managing the research and preparation of ministerial briefings, reports and policy discussion papers
• Updating of existing policies, reviewing against existing and/or new legislation
• Leading research and analysis to inform policy papers and consultation material
• Preparation of parliamentary briefings and cabinet submissions
• General administration and/or project support duties

Ideally you will possess:

• Previous public sector experience is essential as is exceptional writing skills
• Experience with policy development and legislation within government
• Sound research and analytical skills to apply judgment and advice on important issues
• Extensive stakeholder engagement and communication skills
