About the role

As a Power BI Sr. Developer, you will make an impact by contributing to impactful projects that enhance our company’s purpose and societal impact. You will be a valued member of the healthcare team and work collaboratively with managers and team members.

In this role, you will:

· Develop and maintain data models and reports using MS Power BI to support business decision-making processes.

· Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to drive strategic initiatives and improve operational efficiency.

· Oversee the integration of data from various sources to create comprehensive and accurate reports.

· Ensure data accuracy and integrity by implementing robust data validation and quality assurance processes.

· Optimize existing Power BI dashboards and reports for performance and usability enhancing user experience.

· Lead efforts to automate data collection and reporting processes reducing manual effort and increasing efficiency.

What you need to have to be considered

· Minimum 6+ years experience working with Power BI in a consulting or enterprise environment.

· Expert proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M language), and Power BI service to manager report in service.

· Strong experience with governance in Power BI service

· Experience in Power Automate and Paginated Reports.

· Strong background in data modeling in Power BI, ETL processes, and SQL.

· Experience with planning, project management, or operational BI solutions is highly desirable.

· Proven ability to translate complex business problems into clear and actionable BI solutions.

· Excellent communication skills with experience engaging stakeholders at all levels.

· Strong experience to handle cloud databases Snowflake, Databricks and Data lakes

These will help you stand out

· Familiarity with Fabric and Data Engineering, SQL Server, or other cloud data platforms is a plus.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $70,000 - $120,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
