Snowflake is about empowering enterprises to achieve their full potential — and people too. With a culture that’s all in on impact, innovation, and collaboration, Snowflake is the sweet spot for building big, moving fast, and taking technology — and careers — to the next level.
Our Data Analytics and AI organization is looking for a Senior Principal to join Snowflake's Go-To-Market (GTM) Analytics team. In this role, you will be a critical partner to the GTM leadership, providing data-driven insights to optimize sales and marketing strategies, drive revenue growth, and enhance our overall market intelligence.
Our mission is to build scalable solutions and models that enable Snowflake's GTM organization to become the industry's most insights-driven team. We are looking for talented candidates who can push the boundaries of our existing ecosystem, design new state-of-the-art solutions, and share these best practices with our customers and partners. You will be part of a team charged with structuring and executing quantitative analyses and managing the reporting needed to enable our GTM teams.
If you are passionate about using advanced analytics and data science to solve real-world business problems and are looking for a role that values your creativity and insights, we have a unique opportunity for you.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality and actionable data insights to GTM leadership. Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders to translate complex data into clear, impactful business recommendations.
Own and manage key datasets and dashboards that are leveraged daily to monitor the health of the GTM funnel, from lead generation to customer acquisition and expansion.
Collaborate with a team of high-performing analytics professionals to identify business opportunities and develop solutions to address them.
Conduct rigorous analysis focused on solving GTM problems with Snowflake, including marketing ROI, sales efficiency, and pipeline velocity.
Think creatively, proactively, and futuristically to identify new opportunities within Snowflake’s long-term roadmap for business intelligence.
Act as “customer zero” for Snowflake to help us continue to evolve an even more powerful, intuitive product and demonstrate how Snowflake uses Snowflake internally.
Support the adoption of reporting by responding to user questions and supporting enablement activities.
Build a deep understanding of data infrastructure, including input systems and engineering pipelines, to debug user issues and ensure data quality.
Required Qualifications:
A degree in a quantitative discipline: statistics, operations research, computer science, informatics, engineering, applied mathematics, or economics.
At least 6+ years of experience in a data-oriented role, preferably in a GTM or business operations context.
Prior experience supporting executive-level stakeholders across GTM, sales strategy, sales/marketing/business operations, or financial planning and analysis.
Extensive experience with a querying language, especially SQL, to build complex analyses, models, and data pipelines.
Experience in a visualization or dashboarding tool is beneficial (e.g. Streamlit, Tableau or Looker).
Excellent communication skills to summarize insights and recommendations to audiences of varying levels of technical sophistication.
Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and other sales enablement tools is a plus.
Knowledge of Cloud, SaaS business models and B2B channel structures is a plus.
