Our client, Reda Sullivan, is building a legal document generation platform to help everyday users respond to eviction, collection, and foreclosure complaints—without needing to hire a lawyer. The system automates legal document creation through guided questionnaires, internal legal review, and secure cloud delivery.
We are currently building our beta version and are seeking a Product Designer to help shape the user experience and interface.
About The Role
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and user-centered Product Designer to collaborate on a part-time, contract basis. You will be responsible for creating intuitive, accessible, and responsive designs that support both:
- External users (non-technical consumers completing legal forms)
- Internal users (legal professionals reviewing and editing documents)
This is a focused design sprint (~80 hours total over ~4–5 weeks), ideal for freelancers or designers with flexible availability.
Responsibilities
- Design wireframes, user flows, and responsive UI for the MVP
- Turn legal workflows into intuitive, step-by-step user experiences
- Create dev-ready assets and design system in Figma
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams on handoff
- Ensure accessibility and ease of use for a wide range of users
- Provide lightweight documentation of key design decisions
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in product or UX/UI design
- Strong portfolio with examples of web app flows, form design, and responsive layouts
- Experience designing for platforms with low to medium digital literacy users
- Excellent skills in Figma (or similar design tools)
- Ability to work independently and communicate clearly in English
- Bonus: Experience in legal tech, fintech, or public service tools
- Bonus: Familiarity with accessibility guidelines (WCAG)
