Due to continuous growth and expansion, Pharmathen Pharmaceuticals offers a great opportunity for career development and is seeking to recruit a Production Supervisor LAI for the Long Acting Injectables (LAI) Production team at our Sapes premises.
As a Production Supervisor LAI you will be accountable for the smooth operation of the aseptic production during your shift process through the proper coordination of processes performed by production workers.
More particularly:
What you will do:
- Monitor all basic steps of the production process, guiding the operations and daily reporting to the Production Senior Manager
- Ensuring the quality, safety, productivity, and house–keeping of the production area
- Monitor and prioritize workflow of production to meet deadlines
- Take initiatives or participate in actions aimed at improving productivity and reducing production costs
- Proposes corrective and improvement actions related to production processes and HSE
- Train new employees on how to safely use machinery and follow procedures
- Follow and control the implementation of written procedures and instructions cGMP’s ensuring the quality of the product
- Contribute to the preparation of manufacturing documents (batch manufacturing records), investigations
- Commitment to achieving qualitative and quantitative goals
- Participating in Production team meetings
- Have basic knowledge of Good Documentation practices as per EU regulatory guidelines
- Provide training to team leaders and operators on aseptic behaviors and on equipment operation
Requirements
The ideal candidate should have:
- BSc in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Pharmacy or relevant field
Minimum Experience
- 3-5 years of experience in a relevant position within the pharmaceutical industry

- Competent in English and PC (MS office & ERP)
- Ability to work on shifts and/or weekends
- Troubleshooting skills
- Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects and meet timelines
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and set priorities
- Critical thinking
- To have an aseptic operation knowledge as per EU norms.
- To perform event and investigation as per regulatory requirement.
- Excellent communication and team management skills
- To have basic knowledge of sterile manufacturing skids, powder and prefilled syringes aseptic line
