This is an onsite role based in San Jose, CA

We're looking for a Program Manager to lead and scale our XR (Extended Reality) service delivery. This isn't just a management role; it's a leadership position for someone who excels at strategic problem-solving and nurturing high-stakes client relationships. The ideal candidate is a critical thinker who can dissect complex issues, a master communicator who can translate technical details for a demanding audience, and an analytical leader who can drive results for our key business areas: data collection, annotation, and certification.

What You'll Do

● Lead and scale a large, multi-city team, fostering a culture of ownership and excellence in all operational processes.

● Oversee all program-level initiatives, from defining project scopes and timelines to managing resources and ensuring on-time, high-quality delivery for our XR platform.

● Act as the primary strategic partner for our clients. You won’t just manage expectations; you’ll anticipate needs, navigate complex challenges, and build trust through clear, logical communication and an unwavering commitment to quality.

● Apply rigorous analytical reasoning to operational data, identifying root causes of issues, forecasting potential bottlenecks, and crafting data-driven solutions that improve efficiency and quality.

● Leverage your deep knowledge of Android prototype devices and the Android technology stack to guide your team in troubleshooting and developing innovative solutions, bridging the gap between technical teams and business needs.

● Develop and deliver high-impact presentations and business reviews for clients and senior leadership. Your ability to distill complex information into concise, compelling narratives will be critical to your success.

● Own the full operational lifecycle for our XR platform, from initial data ingestion to final product certification, ensuring every step meets our high standards for precision and detail.

Who You Are

● An experienced leader with a proven track record of managing and inspiring large teams (100+ people) in a fast-paced technology environment.

● A seasoned program manager with expertise in managing complex, multi-faceted projects and delivering results under pressure.

● A master communicator with a history of successfully managing high-stakes client relationships and turning difficult conversations into positive outcomes.

● A natural critical thinker with exceptional analytical and reasoning skills. You can break down complex problems, identify logical solutions, and communicate your rationale clearly and persuasively.

● Extremely detail-oriented, with an uncompromising focus on quality and operational excellence.

● Knowledgeable about Android technology, platforms, and prototype devices

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $90,000 – $109,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
