Project Coordinator / Program Coordinator - Complex Networks Program

Location: Brisbane

Competitive rate available.

Min 6 months contract with potential extension.

Are you an experienced Project or Program Coordinator ready to take on a challenging and complex multi-workstream program? My client is seeking a highly capable individual to provide effective and efficient coordination and administrative support for the seamless separation of a Networks Business.

The Role:

You will sit within the Program Management Office (PMO) and be responsible for:

  • Providing high-quality administrative and coordination support across multiple workstreams.
  • Assisting with tracking program milestones, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Managing internal and external stakeholder relationships and expectations.
  • Financial Management, including managing timesheets, creating/tracking purchase orders, and completing financial forecasting (e.g., monthly actuals reconciliation and variance analysis).
  • Coordinating the delivery of program reporting.
  • Providing extensive diary management and secretariat support for key governance forums and working groups, including minute-taking and action tracking.
  • Supporting the management of the program's RAID log (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies).
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation.

Skills & Experience Essential:

  • 5 years working in a similar role.
  • Experience managing complex budgets of $10M+.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Professional application skills (especially MS Excel and MS Project).
  • Strong understanding of key Project Management principles.
  • Intermediate/Advanced understanding of financial management and accounting processes.
  • Proven planning and administrative skills, with advanced time management and organisational skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills, strong attention to detail, and advanced time management skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously, prioritise workload, and work under pressure to meet fluctuating deadlines.

Highly Desirable:

  • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
  • Experience working in a large enterprise or a cross-functional PMO environment.
