Job Summary

The Program Specialist (LEPS Business Transformation) will support strategic transformation initiatives across the Large Electric Power Solutions (LEPS) division. This role is pivotal in shaping and executing the division’s strategy, driving innovation, and ensuring the business remains competitive in a rapidly evolving market. The Program Specialist will support transformation efforts, aligning cross-functional teams to deliver impactful change while fostering adaptability and continuous improvement.

What you will do

  • Executing transformation initiatives to enable the LEPS / GAM business to achieve 2030 power gen growth objectives and in direct support of Key Strategic Initiatives.

  • Managing metrics, dashboards and supporting management tools in place to monitor performance and govern transformation processes

  • Responsible for prioritizing tactical and strategic improvement ideation, inclusive of business case development

  • Coordinating cross-functional teams that will deliver the continuous improvement and transformation needed to positively impact the business.

  • Supporting commercial and operational organizations in the evaluation of KPI performance challenges to identify necessary root causes and improvement opportunities.

What you will have

  • Planning: Tactical, Strategic: Extensive experience and knowledge of effective planning techniques and ability to contribute to operational (short term), tactical (1-2 years) and strategic (3-5 years) planning in support of the overall business plan.

  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Extensive experience and knowledge of successful approaches and techniques for dealing with change; ability to adapt to a changing environment and be comfortable with change.

  • Managing Multiple Priorities: Extensive experience and knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.

  • Relationship Management: Extensive experience and knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.

  • Project Management: Extensive experience and knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives.

Additional Information

  • This position can be located in either Dallas, TX or Alpharetta, GA and requires 5 day a week in-office availability

  • Domestic travel up to 25% & minimal international travel is required

Summary Pay Range:

$126,000.00 - $189,000.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
