Project Manager

Cognizant is looking for a dynamic Project Manager with real time experience with Azure, VMware and Windows Administration. The role involves designing and implementing robust infrastructure solutions in a hybrid work model. The candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing our IT infrastructure to support business operations efficiently.

In this role, you will:

• Design and implement scalable infrastructure solutions using Azure and VMware technologies to support business needs.Oversee the administration and maintenance of Windows servers to ensure optimal performance and security.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate infrastructure solutions with existing systems and applications.Provide technical expertise in troubleshooting and resolving complex infrastructure issues to minimize downtime.Develop and maintain documentation for infrastructure configurations processes and procedures.Monitor infrastructure performance and implement improvements to enhance system reliability and efficiency.Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in infrastructure management.Conduct regular assessments of infrastructure to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.Lead initiatives to automate infrastructure processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.Coordinate with vendors and service providers to ensure seamless integration of third-party solutions.Support disaster recovery planning and execution to ensure business continuity.Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in infrastructure technologies to drive innovation.Provide training and support to junior team members to enhance their technical skills and knowledge.

What you’ll need to succeed (required skills):

• Possess strong experience in Azure and VMware Administration demonstrating the ability to design and manage complex environments.
• Have a solid background in Windows Administration with expertise in managing server configurations and security.
• Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues effectively.
• Exhibit strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Show proficiency in scripting and automation tools to streamline infrastructure processes.
• Have a keen understanding of industry standards and best practices in infrastructure management.
• Display a proactive approach to learning and adapting to new technologies and methodologies.
