Caterpillar Energy System Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd, is looking for: Project Manager for EPC projects in APAC region.

Since 1871, MWM has been developing and producing sustainable gas engines and gensets in Mannheim, Germany. Today, Caterpillar Energy Solutions GmbH and our MWM brand is one of the leading and most renowned brands in the field of gas engines and gensets.
Product Offerings
The company produces and sells MWM products, services and technologies for decentralized energy supply using mostly reciprocating gas engine generator sets with power outputs ranging from 400 to 4,500 KW. Gas engines run on a wide range of gaseous fuels as natural gas and non-natural gas (such as bio-gas like landfill and sewage gas). Power plant accessory equipment describes the design, engineering and supply of equipment used in combination with engine generator sets to construct a power plant. MWM also offers after-sales parts and services for its equipment.
We serve our customers around the globe as a reliable partner for proven and sustained added value in the implementation of power plant projects. Our products are the result of around 150 years of experience in the development and optimization of gas engines and gensets for natural gas, biogas and other special gases.

Accountabilities
Report to Regional Project Manager (Asia Pacific)
Utilize professional project management techniques to ensure gas power projects are completed on time or ahead of schedule while minimizing costs.
Develop and manage project timelines with milestones, oversee project budgets, and allocate resources effectively. Establish technical boundaries in collaboration with design institutes, subcontractors, installation companies, EPC contractor, etc.
Ensure seamless commissioning to facilitate on-time payments Collaborate with CES factory and dealers to clarify contractual technical and commercial terms.
Coordinate cross-functional internal resources within Caterpillar, including sales, commercial, supply chain, production, application engineering, logistics, and finance.
Aid in enhancing dealers' technical capabilities through accurate application and installation support.
Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Additional Skills
A degree from a college, university, or equivalent institution is mandatory, with a preference for electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or combustion engine.
Have work experience as a project manager in power plants is highly desirable. Possession of PMP or MBA is one plus.
Proven experience in EPC power projects, encompassing tendering, technical liaison, vendor management, and site management.
Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
Proficient in written and spoken English, familiar with technical terminology, possessing a CET-6 score above or an IELTS score of 6.5 or equivalent.
Excellent interpersonal skills, a team-player mentality, mature demeanor, and self-motivated nature.
Willingness to engage in business travel.
Prefer Skill:
Experience working with large power plants exceeding 30 MW and working in a multinational company
This position requires the candidate to work a 5-day-a-week schedule in the office.
