Job Summary

Solarvest is seeking a proactive and safety-oriented Project Manager to support project development activities, supervise EPC contractors during solar PV installation, and oversee O&M contractors during the operational phase. This role plays a key part in ensuring safe, high-quality, and on-time delivery of solar PV projects, while also maintaining performance and compliance standards throughout the system lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Development Support

  • Participate in site surveys and feasibility assessments for rooftop, floating and ground-mounted solar projects.
  • Evaluate technical viability of proposed sites including structural integrity, electrical infrastructure, and access.
  • Support pre-construction planning including layout optimization, interconnection studies, and risk identification.

2. EPC Contractor Supervision

  • Supervise daily on-site activities of EPC contractors to ensure alignment with design, safety, and quality standards.
  • Review and verify construction drawings, method statements, QA/QC and HSE plans.
  • Monitor construction progress against schedule and budget, and report delays or issues proactively.

3. Safety Management

  • Enforce strict compliance with Solarvest and regulatory HSE policies on all sites.
  • Conduct regular safety audits, toolbox talks, and incident investigations.
  • Ensure EPC and O&M contractors implement site-specific risk assessments and safety controls.

4. Testing, Commissioning & Handover

  • Coordinate pre-commissioning, testing, and final commissioning activities with EPC and utility teams.
  • Ensure all system performance tests, documentation, and punch list items are completed before handover

5. O&M Contractor Supervision

  • Oversee operation & maintenance (O&M) contractors to ensure systems meet performance KPIs and uptime targets.
  • Monitor preventive and corrective maintenance schedules, including cleaning, inspection, and troubleshooting.
  • Review monthly performance reports, incident logs, and ensure timely response to system faults.

6. Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation including site surveys, daily reports, as-built drawings, and O&M records.
  • Provide weekly updates to management on project status, risks, and contractor performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil preferred)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in solar project execution, including EPC or O&M supervision
  • Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, design principles, and Thai grid interconnection processes
  • Proven experience in site assessments, safety enforcement, and contractor management
  • Familiar with Thai construction regulations, permit processes, and local utility requirements
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to travel regularly to project sites across Thailand
  • Professional Engineer License is an advantage
  • Can communicate in English fluently
