The Project Manager plays a key role in driving the successful execution of projects, working closely with Insight team members and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery from questionnaire finalization through to report completion.

 

The Project Manager will be responsible for creating and managing project timelines, monitoring progress against milestones, anticipating and resolving issues, and identifying opportunities to improve processes.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain timelines for all research projects from kickoff through to report delivery.
  • Monitor incoming project requests and lead initial planning efforts to align with team capacity and timing needs.
  • Act as a liaison across Partner Success, Insights, Operations, and Analytics to maintain alignment and ensure key project milestones are met.
  • Proactively communicate project status, risks, and updates to all stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.
  • Assess project phases for complexity and resource needs, adjusting plans as necessary to ensure balanced team workloads.
  • Coordinate and manage external vendors and contractors as needed to support project execution.
  • Monitor team-wide project priorities to anticipate bottlenecks and propose resourcing or workflow solutions.
  • Ensure accurate and complete reporting of project data in internal systems, including timelines, assignments, time tracking, fielding results, and vendor expenses.
  • Support Partner Success in project conversions by facilitating early-stage planning and smooth handoffs to project teams.
  • Perform post-project cost validation to confirm that all project-related costs are properly captured and recorded.
  • Analyze project performance data against benchmarks to identify trends and surface opportunities for optimization.
  • Lead and support cross-functional process improvement initiatives across the full project lifecycle, partnering with department leads to implement and operationalize changes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with a strong desire for continuous learning.
  • 3+ years of experience in project management and/or business operations with a record of high performance and growing responsibilities.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated success building positive relationships within cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to think both strategically and tactically to anticipate challenges and solve problems proactively.
  • High attention to detail with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • A proactive, responsive self-starter committed to providing outstanding service and delivering high-quality results.
  • Mindset focused on efficiency, optimization, and creating value through better processes.
  • Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; familiarity with project management and/or survey platforms a plus but not required.
