THE ROLE:

The Project Manager is responsible for 6-8 customer projects, they will be end-to-end responsible for the project ensuring that the project is delivered within budget and agreed timelines. The Project Manager will oversee the provisioning process with a prime focus on the delivery/operational side to interface with the customer. The projects handled are of strategic value for Expereo.

Within this role, the main task will be to be the single point of contact with the customer, there will be day-today contact with the customer responsible project manager and team. The focus will be to manage the customer expectations and the Project Manager will take the lead with the wider Expereo project team members to deliver what has been promised both in the (pre) sales as in the provisioning phase. This will include taking a leadership role in cross departmental initiatives to deliver the project and overcoming project obstacles. The Project Manager will also be involved in the initial project requirement reviews and the process to onboard new customers.

THE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Here is how your day-today responsibilities of the role will look like, but are not limited to:
  • Onboarding of new customers by organizing an internal and external project kick-off;
  • Create an agree a project plan with the customer including timeline and budget;
  • Be the main focal point from Expereo to the customer stakeholders and lead customer Project related calls;
  • Report and present on project progress & deliverables on a weekly basis, both internally and externally with Expereo or customer tools;
  • Manage internal service levels, such as the timely delivery of an entire project and tracking the revenue streams; including project changes and cancellations
  • Ensuring obstacles to delivery are overcome; including engaging SRM/SalesOps to find alternative services
  • Manage the internal project team and delivery processes across all Expereo departments and offices;
  • Develop a good working relation with the line-managers of the departments (CSM, SRM Sales Ops and SDM) working in the project;
  • Coach (and where needed act) to enable the team member to identify and resolve all issues with local providers and (end)-customers;
  • Understand contractual obligations and ensure delivery of services to an agreed service description and SLA/OLA (establishing and ongoing ownership of KPIs as necessary)
  • Manage escalations from customers as well as towards customers;
  • Ensure an up to date and accurate project administration

Requirements

  • Must be business proficient in Japanese to serve Japanese-speaking clients
  • Minimum 5-7 years of working experience in a dynamic and international work environment;
  • Must have proven commercial acumen (proven project budget management, financial insight, ability to analyze cost impact, understand margin on project level)
  • Ability to take a leadership role in end-to-end service delivery including all escalations
  • Ability to work independently and unsupervised
  • Uses experience, gravitas, and confidence to influence customer expectations and actions to ensure successful project completion
  • Proven leadership skills in resolving complex project issues including scope changes, and unclear product definition
  • Proven experience leading cross departmental initiatives to resolve project blockages
  • At least 5 years of experience in Telecoms and specially Internet Access networking technologies;
  • Preferred Project management certification (Prince2, IPMA, PMP)
  • Excellent multi-level communication skills in the English language, additional language skills can be required per region
  • Capable of creating and presenting complex presentation and reports
  • Solid administrative skills and accurate, well organized, creative, persistent, quality driven
  • Proactive, self-starter and team worker
  • Planning and organizing skills, customer focused
  • Hands-on and result driven attitude
