In addition, as part of this next phase, Nido is preparing to execute a landmark acquisition that will significantly increase our operational footprint across Europe. This transaction will be instrumental in achieving our target of managing 25,000 beds by 2031 and in cementing our position as a market leader in the sector.
We are therefore seeking a dynamic, hands-on Project Manager to join our Integration Team. This role will be instrumental in supporting the integration of the two businesses, acting as a central coordination point across multiple workstreams. Reporting to the Chief Integration officer, you will work closely with workstream leads, executive sponsors, and key stakeholders to ensure a smooth and timely integration process.
This is a critical position requiring strong M&A integration experience, exceptional project management skills, and a collaborative mindset.

KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES (include but are not limited to)
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional integration activities across all workstreams (e.g., Operations, HR, IT, Finance, Marketing, Legal and Communications).
- Serve as the primary point of contact for integration-related updates, ensuring clear communication and accountability across teams.
- Work closely with the Chief Integration Officer and senior leadership to track progress, mitigate risks, and resolve issues proactively.
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and key milestones, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Facilitate regular workstream check-ins, steering committee meetings, and provide status reports to stakeholders.
- Ensure integration activities are completed on schedule, within scope and budget.
- Identify interdependencies across workstreams and manage integration risks and issues.
- Maintain project documentation including RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) and decision logs.
- Work closely with Finance to ensure integration synergies are clearly tracked and reported against agreed targets.
- Collaborate with the Communications Lead to ensure all workstream leads have a clear understanding of project milestones, updates, and internal messaging.
- Support the transition to Business-as-Usual (BAU) by coordinating the handover of responsibilities and embedding integration activities into core operations.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager, ideally within the real estate, hospitality, or student housing sectors.
- 5+ years of M&A integration experience with a solid understanding of the integration lifecycle ideally in pan-European settings
- Strong organisational and coordination skills across multiple functions and geographies.
- Demonstrated ability to drive projects to completion in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
- Hands-on, pragmatic approach with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- ·Proficient in project management tools.
- Relevant project management qualifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile certification) are a plus.
- Fluent in English and Spanish; Italian and German language skills are an advantage.
