D-ploy, a leading IT and Engineering Solutions company with operations throughout the EMEA region and the USA, is seeking a Project Quality Management Expert to join their team. As a member of the D-ploy team, the Project Quality Management Expert will be responsible for ensuring that project deliverables meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. The successful candidate will work with cross-functional teams to identify project risks and implement strategies to mitigate those risks. They will also be responsible for developing and implementing project quality management plans to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
We are seeking an experienced Project Quality and Project Manager with a proven track record in the pharmaceutical industry and audit readiness projects. This role will lead initiatives to assess, optimize, and ensure the readiness of IT Service Desk and On-Site Support operations for various audits. You will oversee gap assessment planning and execution, advise regarding remediation actions, optimize processes, and drive compliance with ITIL best practices. The position requires strong leadership in fostering a culture of quality, excellence, and continuous improvement across global teams.
Key Responsibilities
Audit Readiness & Gap Assessment
- Develop and execute a comprehensive Gap Assessment Plan to evaluate current processes, documentation, and operational readiness.
- Conduct and document the gap assessment, identifying potential compliance, process, or operational gaps.
- Propose and oversee remediation actions to close identified gaps, ensuring timely and effective implementation.
Quality Management & Compliance
- Ensure IT service operations adhere to GxP, ITIL, and pharmaceutical industry regulatory requirements.
Project & Stakeholder Management
- Act as the central point of contact for all quality and readiness activities, ensuring close alignment with stakeholders across business, IT, and compliance teams.
- Provide weekly status reports, highlighting progress, risks, and mitigation actions.
- Manage timelines, resources, and risks to ensure delivery of audit readiness and improvement projects.
Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement
- Identify inefficiencies and opportunities for optimization across IT Service Desk and On-Site Support services.
- Implement process improvements to increase service efficiency, reliability, and audit readiness.
- Lead standardization initiatives, ensuring clear SOPs, process documentation, and knowledge management.
Training & Capability Development
- Design and deliver targeted training programs to upskill IT service teams on audit readiness, compliance, and process excellence.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and quality improvement.
Requirements
- Proven experience in project quality management and audit readiness in the pharmaceutical or other highly regulated industries.
- Strong background in IT Service Desk and On-Site Support operations is an advantage.
- Expertise in gap assessments, remediation planning, and regulatory compliance.
- Solid understanding of ITIL best practices, ITSM frameworks, and incident/problem management.
- Experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, or Remedy.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects in a global environment.
- Strong communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
- Relevant certifications: ITIL, Six Sigma, ISO 9001, ISO 27001, or equivalent.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
