Location: San Leandro, California
Position Type: Part-Time (2 days/week) or Full-Time
Salary Range: $149,760 – $166,400 DOE

Position Overview
This role offers the chance to provide direct psychiatric care in a supportive clinical setting. The Psychiatrist will handle diagnostic assessments, treatment development, and ongoing medication management while working in tandem with an interdisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric assessments and develop DSM-5-aligned diagnoses
• Create and manage treatment plans for individuals with complex mental health needs
• Initiate and manage psychotropic medications
• Participate in case reviews and treatment coordination with healthcare providers
• Ensure documentation meets clinical and legal requirements
• Take part in education, outreach, and resource navigation as needed

Requirements

• MD or DO with completed psychiatry residency
• Board Certified in Psychiatry (ABPN)
• Active California Medical License
• Experience in complex or high-needs psychiatric care preferred
• Strong decision-making skills and ability to collaborate across care teams
