A Peaceful Pack is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Ranch Support - Dog Daycare and Boarding Team Member. Responsibilities
- Assist with the daily care and supervision of dogs in daycare and boarding facilities
- Provide a safe and clean environment by maintaining facility cleanliness and organization
- Administer basic first aid and monitor the health and behavior of all dogs
- Engage dogs in play and exercise to ensure physical and mental stimulation
- Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding services and their dog's needs
- Implement feeding schedules and special dietary requirements as directed by owners
- Assist with record-keeping, including updating dog profiles and incident reports
Requirements
- Passion for animals and a strong desire to work with dogs
- Previous experience in a daycare, boarding, or veterinary setting preferred
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with pet owners and colleagues
- Capable of handling dogs of various sizes and temperaments responsibly
- Basic knowledge of canine behavior and handling techniques
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
Benefits
- Starting pay at $10.00 per hour during probation, with potential increases post-probation.
- Monthly raises of 1.5%, capping at $13.50 per hour, based on performance and dedication.
