Receptionist / Administration Assistant

Join this established organisation in their Sydney CBD office. They are a consulting practice that specialises in client-side Advisory and Project Management services for the planning and implementation of infrastructure investments
Your new role
As their new Administration Assistant you are to carry out administration duties as part of a team of professionals within the business unit. You are required to assist in the smooth running of the business unit by carrying out the day-to-day administration tasks and are required to perform duties with great customer service and effective communication.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
Reception
- Ensure all incoming calls are answered promptly and redirected if necessary and accurate messages are provided to staff as required
- Welcome visitors, direct them to meeting room and announce to staff as required
- Ensure reception area and meeting rooms are well kept at all times, including after meetings the rooms are cleared in preparation for the next meeting
- Prepare and mail all outgoing mail and packages before the daily postal services cut off times
Office Administration
- Procure office supplies such as office groceries and stationery;
- Assist with the formatting of project reports, project business cases, minutes of meetings, contracts, spreadsheets and any project documents as required
- Bind and print project reports and documents as required
- Maintain office equipment
- Ensure project papers and office documents are filed in line with our Integrated Management System (IMS) and ensure office filing is up to date
Your skills and experience
- Ideally you have customer service/administration experience (retail, hospitality or call centre)
- Ability to work in a high paced environment
- Results driven and motivated to achieve targets and succeed.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are second nature to you
- Display resilience and assertiveness
