The role
As a Recruitment Consultant in our Randstad Trades and Labour team, you'll play a key role in finding, engaging, and managing top talent for permanent Mechanical and Electrical Trades positions. This role, based in our either Melbourne CBD, Mulgrave or Essendon Fields office, is a perfect fit for a sales-driven team player with experience in Mechanical Trades, Engineering Trades, or any Blue Collar recruitment. You'll work a semi-warm desk, building strong client and candidate relationships to deliver high-quality outcomes in our great culture, where your input is valued and your success is recognized.

Responsibilities

• Nurture and strengthen client relationships to understand and fulfill their recruitment requirements effectively.
• Proactively identify and acquire new clients through strategic business development initiatives.
• Source, assess, and place exceptional candidates in roles that align with their skills and aspirations.
• Design and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract high-quality candidates.
• Facilitate seamless interview and placement processes between candidates and employers, ensuring successful matches.

About you

• A minimum of 2 years of recruitment agency experience locally
• You should be driven by a passion for delivering tailored recruitment solutions that meet clients needs
• A strong enthusiasm for business development is crucial
• As a positive and team-oriented individual, you will possess exceptional interpersonal skills that foster strong relationships.
• You are a high achiever with a competitive spirit, thriving in a fast-paced sales environment where success is measured by results.
• We’re looking for someone who’s shown commitment and stability in their previous roles
