About the role

As a Release Manager, you will make an impact by leading and coordinating release activities across multiple platforms and globally distributed teams. You will be a valued member of the CIS team, responsible for managing release trains, scheduling, app submissions, and publishing. Your work will ensure that product changes are delivered with high quality, aligned with business needs, and executed through scalable, automated workflows.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage release coordination, scheduling, and timelines across Android, iOS, Web, and other platforms.
  • Oversee app submissions and publishing processes in major app store portals.
  • Support full development lifecycle activities and ensure alignment with agile frameworks.
  • Drive improvements in branching strategy, semantic versioning, sprint planning, and dependency management.

  • Coordinate dependencies and release planning with frontend, SDK, backend engineering, and QA teams.

  • Act as a key stakeholder-facing partner, managing expectations and driving delivery excellence and also mentor team members and contribute to strategic planning and technical decision-making.

What you need to have to be considered

  • 5–10 years of experience supporting full development lifecycles across multiple platforms.
  • Proven experience managing releases at global scale with distributed teams.
  • App submission experience in major app store portals.

  • Experience with CI/CD workflows and QA automation.
  • Familiarity with build and delivery tools (e.g., Maven, Gradle, Bazel, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Spinnaker, ArgoCD).
  • Advanced level of English and strong stakeholder management skills.

These will help you stand out

  • Experience in media or technology companies.
  • Deep understanding of release tracking tools and reporting (e.g., JIRA, sprint scope, bug/test reports, release notes).
  • Experience working with frontend (iOS, Android, Web, Roku, CTV), SDK, and backend teams.
  • Ability to influence technical decisions and contribute to team strategy.
  • Experience in change management and cross-functional collaboration.
