Job Summary:

Caterpillar is seeking a driven and strategic Rental Power Used Marketing Consultant to lead the development and implementation of marketing strategies in the global used power systems market. This role is focused on analyzing rental power fleet operations, creating effective phase-out and resale strategies, and driving profitable growth by identifying opportunities in both Caterpillar dealer channels and external markets.

What you will do:

• Analyzing Rental Power Fleets operations to develop a phase out program and strategy to rebuild or resell the units inside or outside the Caterpillar Dealer Channel.
• Conducting market/competitive research to identify new used market opportunities and industry trends across the globe to increase returns in the Rental business.
• Establishing metrics to monitor and review the effectiveness of existing used strategies; suggesting necessary interventions for improvement.
• Maintaining effective internal communications with the DSD and the Rental & Used team to develop, discuss and align the marketing strategies.

  • Strong foundation in marketing strategy, customer focus, and global perspective, with the ability to analyze market trends, assess competitive dynamics, and recommend innovative approaches that maximize returns.

  • A balance of analytical skills, creativity, and relationship management will be key to success in this role.

Additional Information:

  • This position is located in Dallas, TX.

  • Domestic travel up to 35% & minimal international travel is required.

Summary Pay Range:

$126,000.00 - $189,000.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
