We are looking for an RPA Release Manager with a strong understanding of the UiPath ecosystem to join our Automation CoE team.
As an RPA Release Manager, you will be responsible for handling automation deployments, environment readiness, access and connectivity management, decommissioning automations, and ensuring compliance with security controls. This role also includes support responsibilities that require elevated access and a good understanding of operational and infrastructure elements.
Oversee Automation Deployments:
Coordinate the rollout of automation solutions from testing to live environments, ensuring smooth and secure transitions with minimal disruptions
Manage Access Across Systems:
Handle access requests and updates for platforms such as automation tools, password vaults, code repositories (GitHub), and tracking tools (JIRA), ensuring the right people have the right permissions at the right time
Support Production Readiness:
Work with various teams to raise access requests and prepare critical business systems (like Salesforce, Workday, or Coupa) once testing is complete and ready for go-live
Maintain Test Systems & Virtual Machines: Help set up and maintain virtual environments and systems used for testing automations. This includes managing refreshes of systems like Salesforce and ensuring virtual machines are ready and functioning
Enable System Connectivity: Set up the necessary links between UiPath and other tools or platforms, including managing secure connections, tokens, and system integrations.
Ensure Security & Compliance: Conduct regular checks to make sure all activities meet internal security standards and audit requirements. Keep clear records to support compliance with frameworks like SOX
Lead Automation Decommissioning: Safely shut down automations that are no longer needed, removing schedules, access, and related data as part of a controlled retirement process
Work Across Teams: Collaborate with technical, operations, and business teams to ensure smooth releases and efficient ongoing support
Stay Current with Technology: Keep up with updates to the UiPath platform and other relevant technologies to recommend improvements and adopt best practices
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
Good understanding of Automation platform
Familiarity with Releases and Deployment Lifecycle
Excellent problem-solving skills
Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
High level of attention to detail and a commitment to quality
Nice To Have:
UiPath certifications (e.g., UiARD – Advanced RPA Developer)
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and deployment pipelines
Experience with SOX or other audit/compliance controls
Experience troubleshooting automation or infrastructure issues
