About the company and the project:

A data-driven company operating in the building energy efficiency sector, founded in 2023, seeking experienced Sales Business Development. The company helps hotels and other energy-intensive businesses reduce energy consumption by 10–20% using data collection, smart analytics, and digital twins.

Their platform integrates with building systems to detect inefficiencies — such as pool pumps running unnecessarily or mismatches between HVAC operation and occupancy — helping clients reduce costs by up to 30% and lower emissions.
They also support carbon footprint tracking (Scope 1, 2, 3), ensure compliance with sustainability standards (CSRD, ESG, B Corp, Green Key), and enable automated reporting.

You are offered a remote position based in Cyprus, with occasional travel required for client meetings, industry events, and exhibitions.

Your tasks on the position:

  • Implement and manage reporting tools (HubSpot, Notion) to track sales performance and provide insights
  • Optimize CRM usage for lead management and pipeline prioritization
  • Contribute to sales strategy using market and competitor analysis
  • Develop outbound sales campaigns and lead generation via LinkedIn, Pitchbook, and internal databases
  • Support the sales team with research, campaign execution, and regular check-ins
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align go-to-market strategy

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in sales, with a proven track record in selling B2B products to Hospitality.
  • Experience at a SaaS-based energy or sustainability data management provider
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a relentless focus on data and client success.
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Proven ability to conduct independent research, thoughtfully solve problems and continue to expand your knowledge base
  • Leading experience
  • Experience growing and building internal processes for scaling a sales team
  • Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, HubSpot and Notion is a plus
  • Greek native
  • English C1+
