We’re looking for a motivated, results oriented Sales Development Representative to join our team. As the face of Velaz Solar & Roofing, you’ll educate clients about the financial and environmental benefits of solar energy and guide them through a smooth and rewarding sales process. Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify and engage potential customers by generating leads through door-to-door outreach, referrals, networking, and participation in industry events.
- Clearly communicate the financial and environmental advantages of solar energy, while guiding clients through available incentives, tax credits, and rebates.
- Present personalized solar proposals that address client needs, expertly handle questions or concerns, and negotiate favorable terms to close contracts.
- Work closely with the sales team to not only meet but exceed both individual and team sales targets, sharing innovative strategies and best practices.
- Build strong, long-term client relationships by offering outstanding customer service throughout the sales cycle, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Requirements
- A high school diploma is preferred, but candidates with relevant experience are welcome to apply.
- Demonstrated success in sales, ideally within solar energy, renewable energy, or related industries.
- Familiarity with solar energy products, systems, and emerging trends in the renewable energy sector.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to effectively engage, influence, and educate potential customers.
- Proven ability to negotiate terms, overcome objections, and close deals to meet or exceed sales goals.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for site visits, meetings, and customer engagements.
