Multigate is seeking a high-performing Sales Manager to lead our field Sales Associates, drive strategic customer acquisition, and deliver revenue growth across key markets. The ideal candidate has strong leadership experience combined with hands-on sales expertise and is passionate about coaching high-energy field teams to achieve ambitious business goals.
You will be responsible for recruiting, developing, and motivating a team of field Sales Associates on the ground, ensuring consistent achievement of both individual and team sales targets. This is a hybrid role with leadership and direct sales accountability—ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced, target-driven environments and leads by example.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and mentor a team of Sales Associates, providing coaching, training, and daily support to maximize their effectiveness.
- Set clear sales targets for the team and yourself, tracking performance and ensuring goals are consistently met or exceeded.
- Collaborate with senior management to design and execute territory sales strategies, go-to-market campaigns, and incentive plans.
- Generate personal sales by identifying high-potential prospects, nurturing relationships, and closing deals—especially with key or strategic accounts.
- Monitor and analyze field activities, market trends, competitor intelligence, and customer feedback to inform sales strategy and proactively address challenges.
- Foster a positive, high-performance sales culture through motivation, accountability, recognition, and continuous skill development.
- Oversee the recruitment and onboarding of new Sales Associates as needed.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Compliance, and Customer Success teams to ensure seamless onboarding and solution delivery for clients.
- Disciplined utilisation of our CRM to prepare and deliver regular reports on team and individual performance, pipeline health, win/loss analysis, and market insights.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, finance, or a related field (preferred).
- 5+ years of proven success in B2B sales, with at least 1 year in a team lead, supervisory, or management role.
- Experience within payments, financial services, or related sectors, especially with SMEs and enterprise corporates.
- Demonstrated ability to recruit, coach, and motivate high-performing sales teams.
- Proven hunter mentality, self-motivated, resilient, persistent, and driven by sales targets.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, persuasion and negotiation skills.
- Strong ownership mentality and does not take no for an answer.
- Demonstrated ability to perform effectively under pressure and consistently deliver measurable results - with a focus on outcomes rather than activity reporting.
- Data-driven mindset, comfortable using CRM tools and analytics to monitor performance and optimize processes.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently and collaboratively.
- Willingness to travel frequently within assigned territories.
