We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Manager – Home Loans to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in selling Home Loans, Prime Home Loans, and Housing Loan products, along with a deep understanding of the retail mortgage industry and the ability to manage the complete sales cycle. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-performance environment, has strong customer relationship skills, and can lead sales efforts to acquire new customers and grow the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales & Business Development:
Identify and acquire new customers for home loan and prime housing loan products through direct sourcing, channel partners, builders, and referral networks. - Customer Engagement:
Understand the customer’s home financing needs and provide appropriate product solutions based on eligibility, income profile, and credit assessment. - Lead Conversion:
Manage end-to-end lead life cycle – from prospecting and qualifying leads to closing deals and facilitating documentation. - Relationship Management:
Maintain and nurture relationships with key stakeholders including builders, real estate agents, DSA (Direct Selling Agents), and customers to generate repeat and referral business. - Product Knowledge & Advisory:
Stay updated on loan product features, interest rates, credit policies, and eligibility criteria. Provide accurate information and advise customers accordingly. - Documentation & Compliance:
Ensure accurate collection and submission of all necessary documents related to loan processing, in line with company policies and regulatory standards. - Market Intelligence:
Monitor local market trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs to refine sales strategies and ensure competitive positioning. - Reporting & Targets:
Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets. Prepare sales reports and forecasts for management review.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Graduate in any discipline; MBA in Sales/Marketing/Finance is preferred.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in selling Home Loans / Housing Loans, preferably with banks, NBFCs, or HFCs.
- Strong understanding of prime home loan segment, property documentation, eligibility assessments, and housing finance lifecycle.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a competitive market.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in local language and familiarity with the local real estate ecosystem.
- High level of integrity, self-motivation, and customer focus.
- Basic knowledge of CRM systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
