L

Sales Manager, Europe

Linear
Full-time
On-site

We're bringing Linear’s craftsmanship-focused GTM approach to Europe for the first time. In this critical role, you’ll build and lead our European sales motion from London, covering startup, growth, and enterprise segments. Bilingual fluency in English plus one additional European language is a must - you'll be the first point of contact for diverse regional markets as we expand across geographies, building pipeline, setting standards, and delivering exceptional candidate and customer experiences.

At Linear, we care deeply about craft, speed, and the quality of our work. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping how the next generation of high-performing teams discover and adopt Linear.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and execute a 0→1 go-to-market plan in EMEA —owning pipeline, segmentation, forecasting, hiring, and segment prioritization across startup to enterprise.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, RevOps, and Product to refine our strategy based on insights and feedback loops.

  • Serve as the critical regional voice to shape Linear’s GTM playbook—identifying patterns, building repeatable processes, and tailoring content for local markets.

  • Engage directly in deals as needed—especially early enterprise opportunities—to model motion and coach future AEs.

  • Facilitate fast feedback loops internally—ensuring Product hears from European customers and enabling surface-level calibration with hiring and sales leaders.

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years in quota-carrying SaaS sales (enterprise and/or growth), ideally with proven cross-border or pan-European experience.

  • Deep understanding of European business cultures, procurement cycles, and structuring cross-jurisdictional deals.

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and at least one major European language (e.g. German, French, Spanish, Dutch).

  • Track record of building new market motions or scaling sales from scratch.

  • Strong data orientation—comfortable using simple metrics and frameworks to drive decisions, with the ability to adapt quickly.

  • Executive presence for C-level conversations and high-touch stakeholder alignments.

  • Collaborative mindset, ready to operate with Product, Marketing, HR, and Ops to build a foundational motion that scales.

What We Offer

  • Interesting and challenging work—defining Linear’s European GTM strategy from the ground up.

  • Work-life balance.

  • Competitive salary and equity; employee-friendly equity terms (early exercise, extended exercise).

  • Paid lunch and coffee during workdays.

  • Fully remote, with paid co-working space/desk support in London or nearby.

  • Health, dental, and vision insurance tailored per country requirements.

  • 5 weeks of paid vacation.

  • 4 months of paid parental leave (or more depending on local jurisdiction).

  • Regular team events and offsites.
