Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant to manage and support the organization’s financial systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing SAP-related operations, managing user access and roles, supporting budgeting processes, implementing new financial processes, and ensuring seamless integration with third-party systems. This role requires deep expertise in SAP FICO, Funds Management, and Treasury modules, along with a strong ability to collaborate with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and submit monthly status reports on SAP tickets, system performance, ongoing projects, and newly introduced enhancements to the Finance Management team. Coordinate with AMC support for ticket resolution and status updates, and with the network team for roles, authorizations, and transport request movements.
- Manage user role creation and access rights within the SAP Finance system based on relevant approvals. Periodically review user roles to ensure data security and appropriate access aligned with job responsibilities.
- Configure and manage the annual OPEX and CAPEX budgets in SAP. Maintain and update budgeting-related tables and workflows to reflect accurate data and appropriate approval levels.
- Support the implementation of new financial processes and SAP functionalities in areas such as Financials, Funds Management, and Treasury. Assist with month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
- Conduct thorough analysis of complex business processes and provide appropriate SAP solutions. Prepare solution design documents, configuration documents, and functional specifications for the technical team.
- Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders, external vendors, and SAP teams to facilitate incident resolution, requirement gathering, and system changes. Lead workshops, develop user manuals, and create training plans to ensure knowledge transfer and user adoption.
- Address and resolve SAP-related queries raised by stakeholders, identify system gaps, and design/configure solutions or workarounds to support ongoing business operations.
- Monitor and maintain integration between SAP and third-party systems (e.g., Cargo-Galaxy, FSS, In-flight, Point of Sales, Maximo). Resolve issues related to SAP cross-module integrations such as Material Management, Payroll, and SuccessFactors.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security guidelines as mandated by internal and regulatory authorities.
