As a Senior SAP PM Work Management Specialist, you will make an impact by leading the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP PM functionalities to optimize maintenance operations. You will be a valued member of the SAP Functional team and work collaboratively with Operations, Reliability Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, and other stakeholders.
Serve as the primary subject matter expert for the SAP PM work management lifecycle from maintenance notification creation to work order closure.
Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of new business processes and functionalities within SAP PM to align with operational goals.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of maintenance planning, scheduling, and execution.
Manage and optimize master data related to functional locations, equipment, task lists, and maintenance plans.
Ensure the integrity and accuracy of work order data including costs, labor hours, and materials consumption.

Minimum of 7+ years of hands-on progressive experience in the SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) module.
Proven experience as a Senior SAP PM resource in a utility or asset-intensive industry (e.g. electric, gas, water distribution).
Extensive experience with the full SAP PM lifecycle including notifications (IW21), work orders (IW31), maintenance plans (IP11), and task lists (IA05).
Deep functional knowledge of SAP PM configuration and integration points with other modules such as Materials Management (MM) and Finance (FI/CO).
Strong understanding of work management processes including planning, scheduling, capacity leveling, and resource management.
Proficiency in creating and modifying master data (equipment, functional locations, BOMs, task lists).
Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify complex business issues and propose effective solutions.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
SAP PM certification is a significant advantage.

The annual salary for this position is between $159,000 - $186,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
