Caterpillar Work Tools & Services (CWTS) in 's-Hertogenbosch is a subsidiary of market leader Caterpillar inc., an American multinational company operating in more than 200 countries with more than 100,000 employees worldwide. Your Team
The Manager Logistics manages a group of approximately 20 employees. The team’s scope entails the management of a components Warehouse, the campus internal transport, the storage and preparation for global outbound distribution of finished goods including the configuration assembly of hydromechanical work tools at the on-campus Work Tool Distribution Center.

What you will do

Achieving the Logistics department’s People, Quality, Velocity and Cost objectives by leading and supporting the logistics team in executing its core inbound goods receipt, warehouse management, internal transport and outbound distribution processes.

• allocation of resources like people, equipment, budget and intervenes to ensure efficient and effective logistics operations.
• Ensuring the correct logistics process execution, such as handling accurate and on time receipt of Purchase Orders, picking of Sales- and Work Orders etc
• Adequate absenteeism guidance, safety and employee satisfaction
• Efficient and professional departmental working methods and personal smart goals development and execution
• Optimal logistics process through continuous adjustment and improvement
• Budget monitoring and advice regarding budget for next year.

What you will bring

• Higher professional education (HBO) work and thinking level
• Fluent in English and Dutch, both written and verbal
• Extensive logistics knowledge
• Experience with ERP-systems and Microsoft Office applications
• Proven track record in leadership
